Wpg Boxer Rescue is no longer accepting dogs.  We simply have no foster homes and we do not have appropriate care for dogs with issues...I will update when I have more resourses and foster homes willing to take any dogs.

We have no available foster homes who can take a dog on a moments notice.  Please if you can foster a dog call me.  Tracy # 228 5031

Wpg Boxer Rescue has limited foster homes and will have to evaluate all dogs prior to adoption.

Why Boxers?
I have always loved the breed and found myself wanting to help in any way.....

I am passionate about Boxers and do this rescue because I love the breed!

We DO NOT buy Boxers for the purpose of adoption!!!

We do however do our best to find wonderful homes for the Boxers that are in need.
Patience is required when you are planning on adopting a Boxer that is in rescue.....we have no way of knowing when they are going to come into the rescue!

We are all volunteers and have dogs and families of our own.

We all work and make time for our special cause.

ALL finacial aspects of this rescue are the sole responsibility of the Director.

There is no "gold pot" at the end of the rainbow and any help is greatly appreciated!

Our goal is too find loving, healthy, happy homes for all Boxers!
Please fill out an application for adoption or fostering at our canadian website.

Your application will be sent to Winnipeg volunteers and someone will contact you for further informationand to arrange a "home visit".

All applications will remain active for 1 year,  then you must re-apply.

(please complete the entire form)

Thank you for your interest in Winnipeg Boxer Rescue

Puppies???
Most types of Boxers in the rescue are

1.owner surrendered,

2.or Boxers that have been neglected and brought to the rescue by a caring person.

It is extremely unlikely that a Boxer puppy is ever here in a rescue program, most Boxers are over the age of 6 months.

We are working hand in hand with Boxer Rescue Canada,  together we are making a difference!

To breed or not to breed?????
"There is a reason that Breeders breed Boxers!"
They spend the time and money to ensure that they are bettering the Boxer Dog... You can see these breeders at most dog shows...they understand this breed better than most.
Please leave the breeding of the BOXER to people who have experience doing this!
People that just want to breed their dogs for fun, money or to have another puppy should know that Rescues will always have dogs for adoption!
My intention is to see less and less Boxers in need of adoption!!!
